Driver – Bulk Sales Yard

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our bulk sales yard team. This role involves operating a dump truck and a manual (stick shift) box truck to deliver bulk products such as soil, mulch, and gravel, as well as trees and shrubs. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, basic mechanical skills, and a commitment to providing excellent service. No CDL is required, but the ability to handle manual transmissions and heavy lifting is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Delivery: Safely transport bulk materials using a dump truck and trees or shrubs using a box truck to residential and commercial customers.
  • Vehicle Operation: Operate manual transmission vehicles (stick shift) and ensure proper handling during loading, transport, and unloading.
  • Loading and Unloading: Load bulk materials, trees, and shrubs into trucks and deliver them to customers, requiring physical strength to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Customer Interaction: Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively and ensuring accurate and timely deliveries.
  • Equipment Handling: Operate a front-end loader to load bulk materials (preferred but not required; training may be provided).
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform basic inspections and maintenance on trucks to ensure safety and reliability, reporting any issues to management.
  • Yard Assistance: Assist in organizing and maintaining the sales yard when not on deliveries, including restocking products and general upkeep.
