A slow-growing, mounded dwarf shrub with feathery, colorfast, bright gold foliage that will provide superb year-round interest to the landscape. A great contrast to shrubs or conifers with dark green foliage. An easy-care evergreen that works well as a low hedge, foundation or accent plant. Tolerates brief dry spells.

Provide enriched, slightly acidic, evenly moist, well-drained soil. Prefers cool, humid environments and consistent moisture; avoid wet, poorly drained soils or prolonged drought. Shelter from drying winds. Water deeply, regularly in first few growing seasons to establish root system. Feed in early spring. Prune only lightly to shape.
