Hummel means bumblebee in German - appropriate for this pollinator magnet - as well as honoring the town of Hummelo, Netherlands. Perennial Stachys performs like a Salvia, and deer will leave it alone. Deep green mounded is nearly evergreen foliage. Great choice, PPA!
