Skeeter's Broom is a red witches’ broom from Bloodgood that grows columnar in habit. It is narrower in form than Twombly’s Red Sentential. In the heat of summer Skeeter’s Broom turns a bright cherry red. Skeeter's Broom will probably grow 14’ in height by 10’ diameter in 20 years. The spring color is a distinctive pink-red and fall color is a bright crimson.
