Mugho Pine - Mops

This dwarf pine is perfect for confined spaces, with its dense, symmetrical growth and compact, rounded form. Blue-green spring and summer foliage takes on a golden hue during colder months. Its slow growth habit makes this evergreen ideal as a specimen in smaller gardens, or massed to make a bold statement in larger landscapes.

Grows easily in enriched, loamy and well-drained soils. Water deeply and regularly during the first growing season to establish an extensive root system; reduce frequency, once established. Feed with a general purpose fertilizer before new growth begins in spring. Prune only as necessary, to remove damaged or dead branches.
