Description
The White oak, which is native to eastern North America, is renowned for its robust, expansive canopy, long-lasting wood, and stunning seasonal color changes. White Oak has soft, gray-green leaves in the spring and summer that turn a rich green as the season goes on. When fall arrives, it shines with shades of purple, wine, and red, creating an autumnal display that few trees can match. It is perfect for large yards where its wide canopy can offer substantial shade, as it can reach a mature height of 50 to 80 feet and a spread of 50 to 80 feet. White oak is a vital species for wildlife in addition to being a stunning addition to the landscape.
