Upright mounding perennial of glossy tooth-cut foliage topped with flower stalks of white turtle-head-shaped blossoms. Blooms late summer into early autumn. Flowers are good attractors for butterflies and hummingbirds and this is also the host plant for the Baltimore Checkerspot butterfly.
